From back in the Middle Ages Danes have been burdened with taxes or other duties to be paid to their king or government. And for just as long they have shown ingenuity and imagination on how to avoid paying! The small museum is located in beautiful surroundings in a 1700's ware house on the waterfront. Objects, documents, photos and interiors give you a charming insight into an interesting side of Danish history.Aparty from the mentioned open hours the museum is open every first weekend of the month from noon to 3pm.
