Let's saddle up!

The practicalities

Getting on a bike in Copenhagen for the first time can seem a bit daunting for some.

Our best advice is to avoid the bigger streets during the early morning rush hour (7.00-9.00) and late afternoon rush hour (15.00-17.00), when the local Copenhageners are rushing to and from work and school. The Copenhagen bike lanes can be hectic in these time slots. Especially if you're a less experienced cyclist, you'll have a much better time exploring Copenhagen in the lesser crowded periods of the day.

With this guide on where to rent a bike and an article that'll teach you all you need to know before getting in the saddle, you'll be more than good to go.
